What are Chalice Circles?
Chalice Circles are small groups of six to 12 people who meet regularly.
What happens at a Chalice Circle?
Chalice Circles provide both the opportunity for participants to share what's happening in their lives and the opportunity to reflect with others on some of "life's big questions." There is a topic for discussion for each meeting.
How often, when, and where do Chalice Circles meet?
Chalice Circles meet every other week for about two hours, usually during the first and third weeks of a month. Participants choose what day and what time they want to meet when they sign up. Some Chalice Circles will meet at the church. Others will meet in people’s homes. An online Chalice Circle meets through video conferencing technology.
Can I sign up for a Chalice Circle if I’m not a member of the church yet?
Yes! All are welcome to sign up. Participating in a Chalice Circle is a good way to get to know people and learn more about a liberal religious approach to life. Newcomers are also welcome to drop in on a Chalice Circle to see if they like it.
Can I join a Chalice Circle after it has already started?
Absolutely. Newcomers to the church are always welcome to join a Chalice Circle even after it has started if there is space available.
