The Art of Language to Liberate and Empower

Rev. Jennifer DeBusk Alviar, Guest Minister

Live multiplatform worship in the sanctuary and over zoom!

Language holds both power and possibility for liberation, healing and wholeness. Yet such liberation depends on who wields the power and how this power is used. Come join us as we seek to redefine and expand our understanding of language in leading to greater equity and inclusion within the disability justice movement.

Theme for May: Creativity
Throughout the month of May we are exploring the spiritual theme of creativity. Peggy Taylor writes: “Creativity is our ability to dream things up and make them happen.” What do you want or need to create? What do we collectively imagine for our community and our neighborhoods? How can we co-create our dreams into reality? Join us to explore and learn together!
