Listening is, as you can imagine, so much more than NOT talking. It is an active process that honors the inner strength of both the listener and the one being listened to, and serves as a witness to your pain and discomfort. Join your lay ministers–Debra Valpey, Jean Spohn, and Toska Rodriguez–as we share our personal reflections, our practices, and what we have learned from our training under our former and current ministers. The ministry of listening is our gift to you, our beloved congregation.
