Join the Racial Justice Education Team for this weekend’s workshop on INTERSECTIONALITY.  Intersectionality can be defined as the complex, cumulative way in which the effects of multiple forms of discrimination combine, overlap, or intersect, especially in the experiences of marginalized individuals or groups.

Watch this short video to learn more about Intersectionality.

At this weekend’s workshop, we’d like to hear about your own personal experiences with oppression and discrimination and how these experiences influence how we view other people.  How does intersectionality overlap with your experiences?  Are there areas where our efforts for anti-racism could benefit from keeping intersectionality in the forefront of our goals?  Let’s talk about our community and the ways we can provide support and be active together.  Please RSVP to susanaigner@comcast.net.
