A Rose in the Wintertime: The Story of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Led by Rev. Kristen Kuriga and Melinda Einander

Online worship through zoom

In this multigenerational worship service we will explore the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Each December, Our Lady of Guadalupe is honored in the Catholic tradition by retelling the story of her appearance to Juan Diego, an indigenous man in Mexico, and the accompanying miracle of  red roses blooming on a hillside surrounded by snow. One way she is honored is by creating handmade red paper roses to decorate her altar as a symbol of hope. Let us find hope together this season!
