Our young people are actively engaged in working for social justice and want you to join them in their efforts. On Sunday, March 18 the youth group will present a worship service on “Communicating Equality.”
After the service, members of the Creativity Club will offer a workshop “The Road to Racial Justice”, highlighting what they have been learning about racial justice.
And our elementary class will offer a bake sale, collecting donations of clothing and other items for the Federal Way Day Center in exchange for baked goods.
These are items people can exchange for baked goods at our bake sale: Items needed at the Federal Way Day Center: socks, gloves, underwear, towels, washcloths, laundry soap-liquid or pods (please no soft/gentle), deodorant for men and women, shampoo, shower soap, 30 gal garbage bags, dryer sheets, sugar packets, canned soup and chili, cup of noodles, bleach/spay cleaner, Fred Meyer or Safeway gift cards for gas, coffee cups, soup/cereal bowls, forks, spoons, brushes/combs, nail clippers/nail files, washcloths.
Please join in and support our young people in working for social justice.
