Worship for All Ages
Each week, children and youth join the adults in the sanctuary for the first portion of the worship service. Rev. Alison, or the guest speaker for the day, shares a conversation with the children related to the theme of the morning’s worship.
Periodically, we gather for an intergenerational worship service. Children and youth participate with the adults during the service. These are often to celebrate holiday or rites of passage.
Our Lighthouse chapel services are held quarterly to help to familiarize our young people with what happens in worship, giving them the opportunity to try out different roles in leading and participating in a service.
In the spring, our youth group prepares and leads a worship service for the congregation.
